Living room and dining room
The living room and dining room offer an open and connected space. In the dining area, you will find a large table so you can all eat together, and a smaller round table, specially designed as a board game area. The living room is equipped with a Smart TV, where you can watch television or log in to your account on any streaming platform (Netflix, HBO, Amazon Prime, DAZN…).
The Kitchen
The house features a spacious and bright kitchen, fully equipped with all necessary appliances (oven, microwave, fridge, coffee maker, and dishwasher). Its open layout invites socializing, merging with the living room and dining room.
The Porch
Imagine a place where the beauty of the outdoors and the comfort of an indoor space come together in perfect harmony. This will undoubtedly be the favorite corner for many. Protected and cozy, our glass-enclosed porch is the ideal setting to relax, read, or share a good meal. With a fireplace that doubles as a barbecue, grilled meat will certainly not be missing.
Outdoors
The exterior of Cal Mateu is a natural spectacle. The landscapes of the Montnou valley are an idyllic setting for the house, which offers scattered spaces where you will also find time for yourself. You can sunbathe by the pool, with comfortable sun loungers to disconnect, or climb up to the treehouse, a special corner that promises to awaken your inner child.
The Rooms
Rest in the privacy and comfort of our rooms, each with its own private bathroom. Equipped with everything you need, all bathrooms feature a shower, hairdryer, and hand and body soaps. Each guest receives a set of bath and hand towels.

Note on tourist tax: For stays starting April 1st, 2026, a tourist tax of €0.99 per night per adult (ages 16+) will apply, for a maximum of 7 nights.

No, at Cal Mateu we like to offer a clear and simple rate. We do not charge additional fees for pets, extra guests, etc.
No, we have the same rates all year round.
No, you rent the entire house and, therefore, all its indoor and outdoor spaces will be for the private use of your group.
The owners are on the lower floor of the house. This ground floor is completely disconnected from the rented area, and the spaces are not shared. The outdoor spaces of the house are also disconnected and are not shared with the owners.
In any case, our presence offers support should it be necessary, as the house is very isolated and, if anything were to happen, we can offer our help. However, we reiterate that we do not share the space you will be renting.
